2-ingredients Cake

This is the weirdest cake I ever made. Seriously. Although it looks ordinary it is not ordinary at all. It consists of two ingredients only. This is not possible? Well, that's what I thought, so I had to try it. It is amazingly fluffy and yummie :)

All you need is:

400 g marzipan
7 eggs

Cut the marzipan into small pieces and fill them into a mixing bowl. Add the eggs one by one. Now, stir until all is combined and no marzipan pieces left. This may take about 10 to 15 minutes, but all this stirring makes the 'batter' really fluffy.

Line a loaf cake tin (mine was 11cm x 30cm). This is very important because if you grease and flour it, the cake might stick to the tin. Pour the batter into the tin and bake on 140-150°C for 15 minutes. Cut once across the top and bake for another 35-40 minutes.

That is it. It seems totally odd, but it tastes wonderful :)
